A Foreigner called Picasso, at Gagosian Gallery

Post by Nicholaas »

A museum worthy exhibition spanning all periods of Pablo Picasso work. Included large painting Algerian Women, a version of sleeping muse and couple of excellent still lives, portraits, nudes, among lesser known sketches, studies and preparatory work for demoiseilles d'Avignon. Maybe everyone of contemporary prime artists is learned Picasso's tricks or arrived to them by themselves, but pioneer of Cubism still deserves all of his respect. Composition 9 of 10, color 8 of 10, mystery 8 of 10, novelty 9 of 10
