What are the biggest secrets of Jan Vermeer? Painting on glass and use of camera obscura? Why he was able to achieve a better quality of realism than other painters of his time? Most likely, he could have painted from life on glass and then transferred, and glued the layer of paint to canvas. Then made the final touches. Nobody would be willing to reveal the secrets. But I want to know.
