Scientific experiments to fully understand Death?

Post by Nicholaas »

I was always expecting to hear from someone that the mystery of death had been fully resolved. I do not doubt that the time of these findings will arrive. What do scientists know about life and death? What would be the outcome of experiments on the death of house flies, mice, bigger subjects, and, finally - humans? There are a lot of ethical questions relating to the possibilities of such research. But do we need to resolve the mystery of death? I think positively. So what is individuality and uniqueness of life - a uniqueness of DNA sequence or something more to it? Antimatter complimenting matter of body and known in religion as the soul? Does anything like this exist? If it is only DNA, did anyone attempt to use their DNA to produce outer bodies of their own body, sensible and controllable by the main body? Did anyone agree to be frozen as quite a healthy individual and stored for ten years and then refrozen and revitalized? What kind of experiments on death were deemed legal and took place on planet Earth? And how close we are to the resolution of this secret?
